First Israeli Ambassador
to Macedonia to present CredentialsIsrael's ambassador in Athens, Ran Kuriel, will today (Tuesday), 17.12.96, present his credentials to the President of the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia. Kuriel will serve as a non-resident ambassador, the first Israeli ambassador to Macedonia since since the two countries established diplomatic relations in December 1995.
After presenting his credentials, Ambassador Kuriel will hold a round of meetings with the Foreign, Defense, Agriculture and Trade Ministers. He will also be hosted by the Jewish community in Skopje, the Macedonian capital.
