Communicated by the Prime Minister's Media Adviser Jerusalem, 13 December 1996 Netanyahu meets with Jordanian Information Minister Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met this morning (Friday), 13.12.96, with Jordanian Minister of Information Marwan Muasher. In their meeting, the Prime Minister stressed that the Government of Israel is committed to the peace process with the Palestinians as well as to the peace treaty with Jordan. He added that Israel is also aware of the necessity of a stable and prosperous Jordan. Information Minister Muasher stated that Jordan's commitment to the peace process is clear and that Jordan is interested in working with Israel in order to promote peace.
