Danish Foreign Minister arriving for visit

 

Danish Foreign Minister Niels Helveg Petersen arrives in Israel this evening (Monday), 2.11.98, from Jordan, crossing the Allenby Bridge. He will be visiting the country on a two-day working visit.

Foreign Minister Petersen will meet tomorrow at 10:00 with Prime Minister Netanyahu. Afterwards, he will visit Yad Vashem, lay a wreath at Yitzhak Rabin's grave on Mt. Herzl, meet with Labor MK Yossi Beilin and address the Israel Council on Foreign Relations at the Radisson Moriah Hotel in Jerusalem, at 17:30.

Mr. Petersen is visiting Israel as part of tour of the region, including Jordan and the Palestinian Authority. He will depart the country early Wednesday morning.
