Foreign Ministry Director-General writes Disney Chairman
Foreign Ministry Director-General Eytan Bentsur wrote Disney International chairman, Michael Eisner, on Sept. 13, 1999, expressing Israel's conviction that the Israeli presentation at the Epcot Millennium Village will be presented in full to the millions of expected visitors and that the Disney Corporation will not surrender to political pressure directed against any country.
In his letter, Director-General Bentsur emphasized the fact that Jerusalem was declared Israel's capital by the state's first Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion, back in 1949 and that it will continue to be so in the future as well.
