FM Masalha to attend CICA Conference   Deputy Foreign Minister Nawaf Masalha will lead the Israeli delegation to the founding meeting of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) being held today (Tuesday), 14.9.99 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Deputy Minister Masalha will also meet Kazakhstan President Nurisultan Nazarbayev, Foreign Minister Kasymjomart Tokaev and various ministers from participating countries. CICA has been founded to promote cooperation, confidence building, peace and security between Central Asian countries. Its uniqueness and importance for Israel is that Israel will have full membership in CICA, which also includes countries with which Israel does not have diplomatic relations, including Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
