Communicated by PM's Media Advisor Jerusalem, 3 September 1998 PM Netanyahu speaks with US President   Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received a telephone call yesterday evening (Wednesday), 2.9.98, from US President Bill Clinton, who promised to work together with the Prime Minister in order to advance the peace process with the Palestinians. President Clinton clarified that he intends to accelerate the discussions with the Palestinians immediately upon his return from Russia. During their conversation, Netanyahu and Clinton also discussed the world economic situation, and the President inquired about the condition of the Israeli economy.
