Thanks Israeli Delegation and PM Netanyahu
President Daniel Arap-Moi of Kenya today (Thursday) 13.8.98, met with the Israeli rescue team. The Kenyan President expressed his deep appreciation for the work of the IDF delegation, and asked to convey his personal gratitude, and the gratitude of the Kenyan people to Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli people for the help they sent at a difficult time, in the situation created by the murderous terrorist attack.
The President stressed that his thanks were also expressed in the name of the families of those killed, and of the wounded, who will long remember the help given them by the Israelis. In concluding his remarks, the Kenyan President said that the friendship between the two countries, which was always of a special nature, will now be even stronger, and will find expression in the broadening of cooperation in new areas.
This evening, the prime minister will greet the members of the rescue team at the airport on their return to Israel.
