Young Leadership Seminar

 

The First Young Jewish Leadership Diplomatic Seminar

Kibbutz Ma'ale Hachamisha June 28th-July 23rd, 1999

During the upcoming month (28/6-22/7) the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be hosting The First Young Jewish Leadership Diplomatic Seminar. Thirty-six [36] participants [ages 20-30] from 18 countries have been carefully selected to participate in the seminar which will focus on Israeli foreign policy, the Middle East, and Israeli society.

The program is conducted with the newly established division World Jewish Project in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The objective is to carry out a variety of unique programs aimed at strengthening relations between Diaspora Jewry and Israel. In particular, those who will be joining the ranks of leadership in their respective countries of origin.

The seminar will cover a myriad of issues; among which are government, social affairs, economics and environment and will include meetings with senior politicians and academics, President Weizmann, tours, lectures, panels and cultural events.
