Israel to send additional Aid to Macedonia
At the initiative of Foreign Minister Ariel Sharon, and at the request of the Macedonian government, the Foreign Ministry, yesterday (Sunday), 11.4.99, decided to send about $100,000 of medicines and medical equipment to Macedonia -- to alleviate supply shortages resulting from the special needs of the refugees, some of whom have been hospitalized in local hospitals. The supplies will be delivered to Skopje today (Monday), 12.4.99, via a special flight chartered by the Jewish Agency.
