Visit of the Indian Foreign Minister to Israel

The Indian Foreign Minister, Jaswant Singh, will visit Israel between June 30 and July 3, as a guest of Foreign Minister David Levy.  This will be the first visit of an Indian Foreign Minister to Israel since ties between the two countries were established in 1992, and serves as a further indication of the deepening ties and cooperation between Israel and India.  In the course of the visit, the Minister will meet the President of Israel, the Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister, the Minister for Regional Development and the leader of the opposition, and will discuss a wide range of issues pertaining to the relations between the two countries, such as the ties between governments and parliaments, trade, technological, scientific and cultural cooperation. In addition, the Indian Foreign Minister will address the Israeli Council for Foreign Affairs.
