Communicated by the Foreign Ministry Spokesman  Jerusalem, May 3, 2000 Israel-Palestinian Team to Participate in Morocco Rally   The Israeli actress Naomi Ackerman and the Palestinian actress Ikhsan Turkiya will depart this coming Thursday for Paris, in order to participate in an off-road rally in Morocco: Gazelles Du Maroc - Aicha. The yearly rally, which is for women only, will commence on Friday May 5, at the Eiffel Tower, in Paris, and will end in Fez, Morocco, on May 20. A considerable part of the rally route passes through the Sahara desert. The two actresses have been cooperating for four years in various "People to People" (PTP) projects, with the aim of enhancing Israeli-Palestinian cooperation. Their participation as a team in one of the jeeps taking part in the rally will also draw international media attention. Ackerman and Turkiya were selected by the Israeli Mission in Rabat which will remain in contact with them throughout the rally.
