Communicated by Foreign Ministry Spokesman  Jerusalem, 2 May 2000 The Trial of 13 Jews in Iran   In response to reports from Iran relating to the trial being conducted there against 13 Jews, the Foreign Ministry spokesman stated that the attempt to present the Jewish detainees in Iran as spies is outrageous and cruel. Israel reiterates that the detainees are innocent and should be released immediately.
