Communicated by Foreign Ministry Spokesman Jerusalem, 27 January 1999 Anti-Incitement Committee to Meet   The American-Israeli-Palestinian Anti-Incitement Committee will convene tomorrow (Thursday), 28.1.99, at the Laromme Hotel in Jerusalem for its sixth meeting. The trilateral committee was established at the Wye River talks in the wake of manifestations of incitement and their direct effect on violence and terrorism. Serious displays of anti-Israel incitement in the media and by senior Palestinian Authority officials are continuing, and recent examples will be presented to the Palestinian team at the meeting. Israeli and Palestinian newspaper editors and senior media figures have been invited to attend the meeting, in order to consult with committee members and to clarify the media's role in the fight against incitement to violence and terrorism. Foreign Minister Ariel Sharon, who is closely following the committee's deliberations, has instructed the Israeli team to continue stressing Israel's concern over the displays of Palestinian incitement, and his concern that these could lead to violence and terrorism against Israel and Israelis.
