Communicated by the Prime Minister's Media Adviser Jerusalem, 23 January 1998 PM Netanyahu welcomes Ne'eman Committee conclusions Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today (Friday) January 23, 1998, following the announcement of the agreement in the Ne'eman Committee on the question of the Conversion Law, said: "I congratulate the committee headed by minister Ne'eman, which has reached an agreed solution on the conversion issue. I congratulate all who took part in the work of the committee. This is an important step in the achievement of a general solution on the question of conversion. I have passed on the committee's report to the Chief Rabbinical Council, and it is my hope that they will give their agreement to its conclusions."
