FM Levy meets Moroccan Representative

 

Today (February 15) Israeli Foreign Minister David Levy met with the head of the Moroccan Liaison Office in Israel, Talal Rhoufrani. The two discussed ways to move forward with the implementation of matters decided upon during Foreign Minister Levy's recent visit to Morocco.

During the meeting, the establishment of a joint committee to assess methods of promoting relations between the two countries was discussed. The Israeli chairman of the committee will be Foreign Ministry Director-General Eytan Bentsur.

It was also decided to promote various joint projects, among these, the establishment of a research farm to development new agricultural breeds, cooperation between Al-Ahwan University in Ifran and both Tel Aviv University and Jerusalem's Hebrew University, and cooperation in the realm of public health management to include a joint seminar conducted by two Israeli professors.
