Tunisian State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Visits Israel
The Tunisian State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Mr. Tahar Sioud will arrive this evening on a visit to Israel (6-8/2/2000). The guest will meet tomorrow (7/2) with Foreign Minister David Levy and will then meet with Deputy Foreign Minister Nawaf Masalha for a working lunch.
During the visit, he will also meet with the Minister for Social Welfare, Mr. Eli Yishai, and will be the guest of honor of AMIT (Association of Tunisian Immigrants).
This is the first visit by a high ranking Tunisian government official since the opening of interest offices in the two countries in 1996.
