Medical mission to Senegal

The Foreign Ministry Center for International Cooperation (MASHAV) is sending a medical mission to Senegal to introduce a special technique of Caesarian section. Dr. Michael Stark heads a team from Misgav Ladach Hospital sent by MASHAV to Senegal to demonstrate, teach and carry out Caesarian sections by a special technique developed at Misgav Ladach.

The technique is simple and quick, and reduces the risk of complications during surgery. It also allows the mother to function and care for her baby sooner, both physically and psychologically.

During the past years, MASHAV has sent Dr. Stark and his team to a number of countries: China, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrghizstan, Vietnam and Laos.
