Finance Minister Ne'eman
to meet European Ambassadors

Finance Minister Ya'akov Ne'eman will tomorrow (Wednesday), at 14:00, at the Finance Ministry, meet with the ambassadors from the European Union countries; inter alia, he will raise the issue of the EU Commission's recommendations to place restrictions on the export of Israeli goods from Judea, Samaria, Gaza and the Golan Heights, in the framework of the implementation of the EU-Israeli free trade area agreement.

It should be noted that tomorrow's meeting was arranged approximately two months ago following a request from British Ambassador David Maning (Britain currently holds the EU's rotating chairmanship) for a meeting with Finance Minister Ne'eman, in order to hear his views on EU-Israeli economic relations. However, in light of the EU Commission's surprising recommendations (see above), Finance Minister Ne'eman will raise the issue and make his views known.
